Description
An ugallu is creature from Assyrian and Babylonian mythology with the head of a lion, the arms and torso of a man and the legs of vulture. They were believed to be guardian much like gargoyles in Medieval Europe. One model is of an inanimate ugallu statue on a plinth, the other an animated ugallu attacking. These miniatures were sculpted by Andy Pieper and painted by Paul Sanderson.
