Description
Queen Nefertiti was the wife of the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten during the 18th dynasty. Her name means literally, ‘the beautiful one has come’. The famous bust of Nefertiti, now in the Egyptian museum in Berlin is the basis for this model with her distinctive flat-topped blue crown. Queen Nefertiti is accompanied by lady-in-waiting with a fan and a young maid servant. These figures were sculpted by David Soderquist and painted by Paul Sanderson.
