Description
Board games were a popular past time among the Ancient Egyptians. Mehen was called the snake game and had a circular board in the form of a snake. It is believed to have been a type of race game although the exact rules are unknown. Here a eunuch guard contemplates his next move against a learned baboon. The mehen vignette was sculpted by Kev Adams and Andy Pieper and painted by Paul Sanderson. (The mehen set does not come with a base and the 2 piece table requires assembly)
